SportsBettingOnline.com received a ratings upgrade to C-. The sportsbook debuted in the SBR ratings guide on May 26th, 2012, having initially been downgraded after a representative was caught attempting to poach players from other sportsbooks. The SportsBettingOnline manager addressed the situation and agreed to review the calls. Since that time, the sportsbook has managed to avoid bad press and received generally favorable player reviews. Players with sportsbook feedback are asked to write to help@sportsbookreview.com.

ArkadiaBet Sportsbook
is using a “gotcha rule” to deny a player a £400 withdrawal. Arkadiabet is telling the player that his balance is nullified due to a rule prohibiting a player from betting at odds less than 1.60. SBR argues that the bets in question should simply not count toward rollover, and that there are no grounds to simply confiscate the player’s entire account. Arkadiabet is a Malta-based sportsbook. SBR is continuing to discuss this dispute with the sportsbook. Do check the SBR newswire for any updates.

Finally, SBR would like to thank all 62 users who turned up last Saturday to take part in the charity poker tournament for Hurricane Sandy relief. SBR was able to raise a total of $1,950 between the tournament and SBR Store listing, which has already been donated to the American Red Cross.
